CareSync

CareSync is an adaptive scheduling tool designed to help caregivers and individuals with dementia manage personalized therapy routines. Created as part of an AS Post-Calculus final project, it accounts for the progressive nature of dementia by allowing users to input various types of therapies, set their intervals, and define start dates and unavailable days. Using interval-based logic, CareSync generates a flexible schedule that adjusts to evolving care needs and real-life constraints. It aims to reduce stress for caregivers while ensuring consistent, stage-appropriate therapy for patients.

The Android version is now ready for testing.

I am excited to announce the completion of CareSync, developed as my AS Post-Calculus final project. CareSync is an adaptive Android application designed to support caregivers and individuals with dementia.

Using interval-based logic, the app generates personalized therapy routines that adjust to real-life constraints and the progressive nature of the condition. My goal was to create a tool that reduces caregiver stress while ensuring consistent care.

How to use

How it all started

CareSync came to life from my research that I did in AS Post Calculus course at my school. The paper explores the mathematic concept behind the computation and also describes the process of creating the basis code for CareSync.
